First blogia: panders and seducers Second bolgia: flatterers

Sinners get punishment between the gapes.

Total has 10 bolgias.

Ø         Summery:

Turn left! Dante and Virgil saw a lot of naked sinners keep running from one punch to other punch. There are some horned demons with great whips beating them right behind them. The demons are forcing them back and forth across the bridge. On the way they met a man named Venedico Caccianemico. He told Dante and Virgil his story and the why he got this punishment.

The sinners came across the bridge. Suddenly, Dante and Virgil found a tall sinner who does not seem to cry because of the pain named Jason. They knew the story of Jason. People who came from the same direction to other punch have the same guilt. The end of the first ditch.

They kept going to the second bank. The sinners in the second bank people can't easily breathe because they were drown into the rejection. Then Dante recognized a sinner at the highest point of the edge named Alessio Interminei of Lucca; He told his own story and the reason that he got this punishment. The end of the second ditch.

Ø        Sins:

Panders: people who induced women to satisfy other’s will.

Seducers: people who seduce other and easily make people fall in love.

Flatterers: people who talk a lot and love flattering other.

Ø       Punishment/contrapasso

Panders and seducers were beaten by the demons. The panders and seducers always treated the women like badly and playful and forced them to do the thing they don't intend to do. At the first bolgia, the panders and seducers were forced to keep running and got beaten by the demons to endure the same pain as those women did. It also mentioned that the sinners were naked, it contrapasso that the women who they induced were also naked. Because their greedy, they can’t stop running.

Flatterers were drown into the dung because they always talk too much and flatter to the other people. The rejection equal to the number they talked.

Ø        Character list:

 Venedico Caccianemico induced Ghisolabella to do the marchese’s will because the mind of greedy. Historical: he was exiled three time because his relationship between marchese.

Jason: He visited the island of Lemnos and used words to let Hypsipyle fall in love with him and got pregnant. Unfortunately, he abandoned them so he got the punishment.

Alessio Interminei of Lucca: he can't stop flattering people and talking.
